Privacy Policy

AlphaCommerce ("we") shows Amazon sellers their true profit per product. To do that we read your Amazon sales, fee and advertising data, and the production costs you enter. This page says what we collect, why, who else handles it, and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address and a password. Our login provider stores the password in hashed form; we never see it.
- Amazon seller data, when you connect Amazon. Orders (order ID, date, status, products, quantities and prices), fees, refunds, payout (settlement) reports, and advertising spend by product. Amazon gives us a connection token, which we encrypt before we store it.
- Costs you enter. Materials, labor time, setup, packaging, shipping and overhead for your products.
- Billing status. Your plan and subscription status. Stripe processes card payments; we never receive or store your card number.
- Basic usage events. A short list of steps, such as "viewed the demo" or "connected Amazon," so we can see where sign-up is hard. We do not use outside analytics or advertising trackers.
Your buyers' data
We do not ask Amazon for your buyers' personal information, and we do not store buyer names, addresses, email addresses or phone numbers. For each order we keep only the buyer's state and country, as Amazon reports it.
How we use it
- To calculate and show your profit per product, and to match it to what Amazon pays you.
- To run your account: sign-in, your trial, billing and support.
- To send account emails, such as sign-up confirmation, trial reminders and receipts. Any optional profit emails have an unsubscribe link.
- To find and fix problems in the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use your data to sell, compete with or advise on your products for anyone else.
Who else handles it
A few service providers run parts of the service for us. They handle your data only to provide that service:
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Vercel: hosting for the website and app.
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: email delivery.
- Amazon: the source of your seller data, through the connection you approve.
We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users from fraud or abuse.
How we protect it
- All traffic to and from the app is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Amazon connection tokens are encrypted before storage, with a key that is not kept in the database.
- Each seller's data is separated by account. Database rules stop one account from reading another's data.
- Only people signed in to your account can see your data. We look at it only to support you, to fix a problem, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account and all its data yourself at any time: Settings → Delete account and data. It is deleted at once. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first. Or email support@alphacommerce.io and we delete it within 30 days of your request.
To stop us reading your Amazon data without deleting anything, use Disconnect Amazon on the Connect Amazon page: we delete the saved connection and stop syncing. You can also remove our access in Amazon Seller Central at any time.
After a deletion, only anonymous records stay: counts of sign-up steps and a log of payment events, with no link to you or your account.
Stripe keeps its own payment records, as the law requires. We do not control those records.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@alphacommerce.io. California residents have these rights under California law. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those words.
Children
The service is for businesses. It is not for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we also email account owners before it takes effect.
